Default Pls Help, Assertion Error....

Here is the error:
Neo Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/we.ProTools_8.0.X/AlturaPorts/SDKs/Neo61/Libraries/Macintosh/Environments/Alone/../../../../Source/CNeolnode.cpp", line881

I've never seen this one before. Running MacbookPro, 8gb ram, PT 8.0.5, mbox2, dvtoolkit2.

I've been running this system for 2 years. No problems. The other day I was importing sound files and all was still good. (I work in post as a sound editor). After 20-30 edits, I needed to create something. I did and tried to rename it. When I press return, I get the error. So, I can edit and I can do everything (so far) that I normally do, but when I go to rename, it slaps me.

*Addition*
I've realized that I'm not able to use the stretch tool also. This is major....Any help is good help.

I threw out my digidesign database on all my drives, reinstalled PT and everything involved with it. Still the same thing. I went through the session and removed any suspect files, and moved the corresponding to the trash. THEN, I opened a session that is completely separate from the others. Same thing.

Anyone have ideas? I thought it could be corrupt files or database. What gives!?

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Pls Help, Assertion Error....

Create a new blank session and then import the tracks from the problematic session. See if that makes a difference.

General NeoAccess or Assertion errors

If you receive one of these errors, usually after recording or when trying to save a session, it can usually be resolved by following the steps for trashing preference and database files listed above.
