Default The music video that killed a career.

No joke. This music video brought a career at the top of the rock charts to a screeching halt. For those who remember, you can relive. For those who've never seen this, take it as a lesson of what not to do.

Sorry, all the videos I could find of this have crappy audio.

I had to chuckle.. but you're right. Stopped dead at that point.

I remember seeing this guy with a band called piper years earlier... Never was a fan but I was certainly amazed at how fast he faded.

Not as fast as it stopped for Christopher Cross! In any case, like the song said...."Video killed the radio star............."

Wow, I forgot about that! I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in that production meeting...

Producer - "OK Billy, check it out, you're gonna be doing this kinda male Flashdance thing and we're gonna need you to dance like a girl, do a lot of hair teasing, and if you can, maybe crawl across the floor on you hands and knees!"

Billy - "uh...I dunno guys...Ya sure?"

Just shows what happens when producers with an inordinate amount of nose candy and hands on the purse strings say "I've got a great idea, here's what your gonna do if you want a paycheck..."

...yep Albee, the Buggles had it right with that one!!!

I don't know what's more funny, the video or the comments! LOL! Thanks for that trip down I'm-glad-I-wiped-that-from-my-memory lane.
