Default Mbox 3 PRO - Headphone B = no sound

My B input for my headphone jack doesn't seem to be working.

Anybody else had any issues with this? Is there something I need to do other than plug headphones into the jack?

I plug into input A and that works great...

Never mind, I figured it out... If you run into this and you need both A and B to monitor the same overall signal, do this.

- Go to the start menu and open Control Panel on your PC.

- Pull up the Mbox Pro control panel icon.

- Highlight "Headphone B" and change the drop down to match whatever headphone A is. In my case A was set at stereo mix 5 and B was set at stereo mix 6, so A was playing audio but B wasn't.

I had the same problem but hadn't spotted that - thanks! Typing Mbox pro in the quick find on a mac (Spotlight) finds the control panel instantly...

I am having the same problems:
Somtimes the Audio comes out of Headphone A and not B

Audio somtimes only comes through left or right channel in the headphone even when the output meter shows 2 channels of audio coming out.

Audio sometimes has a loud distortion sound

Sometimes there is no Audio at all.

Please note no setting were changed, so its not me, when i restart the pc it seems to work again.

Thanx. This fixed it for me. Headphone B was linked to Stereo Mix 6.

This should function on Stereo Mix 6 as that is the default. Setting it to Stereo Mix 5 will work for most setups, but is a band-aid as you can provided different mixes to each headphone output. I had the same issue. Turning off the mbox pro AND the pc, restarting everything while changing no settings resolved my issue. This has happened twice in 3 months. I believe it is some kind of initializing, software bug or driver issue as just turning off the mbox pro did alone did not fix it. It required a PC shutdown and restart.
