Default Import preview not working.

Hey everybody.

I upgraded to 7.3, then changed my mind and went back to 7.0. Now when I try to preview audio in the import window, I get "Cannot acquire playback device" its a new accurance and I cannot figure out what the deal is. I preview stuff all the time for the post work I do.

Is it an ASIO issue or something like that? Does not matter what format, wav, aiff etc.. it won't play them.

Any help would be great, thanks!

Phil

Have you checked your I/O setup to make sure that your Audition Path is set to the proper output path?

Just checked the I/O path and everything is fine there. Is it possible that for auditioning PT cannot see its own hardware? I may just try uninstalling and reinstalling Pro Tools.
