I would say that PT is quite stable and much more responsive than before with my dual 800Mhz/1,5 Gig ram/MIX Plus,DSPFarm

Bravo Digi!

The only thing is that I will have to digitize video under OS9.2.2 and export it to native QTime format I guess.

I just got my new machine (Dual 1.42) and have PT6 running on it. Has been looking good so far for the past week. So far no problems. Firewire performance sure is better than my old 9600. Speaking of which - I actually downloaded the "workarounds" to get OSX running on it (The 9600). I even had PT6 running on it. It was VERY slow - but it did work; however, when it would crash, it would crash HARD! Hence the new machine. My SCSI drives work on the new machine, but the firewire sure is easier to deal with - I just have gotten spoiled to the responsiveness of SCSI though so I don't know if I'll give them up just yet or not. Sure is tempting to throw them out and get another process card to fill that fourth slot! Anybody want to buy a couple of 15K RPM Cheetahs and a SCSI64kit?

What you say Willis? Er Woody?

No crashes or weirdness here on 733mhzQS with PT6/HD2 and OSX 10.2.2, though I do drop back to 9.2.2 occasionally to use a plug that will soon be updated for OSX. After that, it's all OSX.

I forgot to mention another cool OSX-only feature: While bouncing-to-disc you can surf the net, print CD labels, AND update your invoice.

Try that in OS9!

I've been on Os X for about 2 weeks now with no major problems to speak of. I still have a clone of my old OS 9.2.2 partition, just in case. However, with PT 6 I have not had any use for it.

When I do have to boot into OS 9.2.2 for my Mezzo program I always find myself saying, "This sucks, when are they gonna update this thing!!"

OS X can spoil you in hurry. I love new OS's. I can't wait until OS 17 with the holographic virtual computer surface.

I really dig the dock and the new file views.
I don't the extension manager at all!!!
