Default MIDI beginner... help please!

Hi All,
Please help with my setup problem, I've search through the forum and tried to solve the puzzle for a while with no luck!

I'm setting up PT/HD with Triton-Rack, Studio Logic Controller, and a midisport 2x4, here are the problems:
#1) everytime I run rescan midi device in the A/M setup, the midisport goes to sleep (offline), then I need to restart the computer to get it back online again. Anyone uses midisport 2x4 has the same problem?

#2) when the midisport is online I am able to record midi and hear audio through P/T, however, I can only do that when Triton-Rack is set on "channel 1", can't do it when I switch to any other channels.

#3) should I be seeing Triton as one of my Input Device? I don't see it right now, but if I should be seeing, how do I add it to the Input Device list?

Please help!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!
