Default Problems with PT6.7 on XP

I just bought pro tools 6.7 and when I try to run the program the usual noise supression demo pops up, I press quit, but then pro tools freezes. Also, the computer (MusicXPC2) will pickup the M-box, but installation won't go through because I'm apparently "missing a driver"...any answers???

So, if you were unable to install, how are you able to launch Pro Tools?

What is this 'standard noise suppression' error you're referring to?

Pro Tools is installed....but when it's loading it gets to DigiRewire and then the program doesn't respond.

Not sure what it is, but it sounds like you need to do a few things:

Update your PACE drivers:
http://www.paceap.com/dldrvr.html
(that may be your missing driver message)

Remove the demo of the DINR (Broadband Noise Reduction) plug-in and any other expired demos from your system:

Check the suggestions in the "Win XP/ Pro Tools 6.x General Troubleshooting" thread at the top of this forum:

And you could download the free update to Pro Tools LE 6.9:
