Problems with PT6.7 on XP
I just bought pro tools 6.7 and when I try to run the program the usual noise supression demo pops up, I press quit, but then pro tools freezes. Also, the computer (MusicXPC2) will pickup the M-box, but installation won't go through because I'm apparently "missing a driver"...any answers???

Re: Problems with PT6.7 on XP
So, if you were unable to install, how are you able to launch Pro Tools?
What is this 'standard noise suppression' error you're referring to? |

Pro Tools is installed....but when it's loading it gets to DigiRewire and then the program doesn't respond.

Re: Problems with PT6.7 on XP
Not sure what it is, but it sounds like you need to do a few things:
Update your PACE drivers: http://www.paceap.com/dldrvr.html (that may be your missing driver message) Remove the demo of the DINR (Broadband Noise Reduction) plug-in and any other expired demos from your system: http://answerbase.digidesign.com/detail.cfm?DID=28112 Check the suggestions in the "Win XP/ Pro Tools 6.x General Troubleshooting" thread at the top of this forum: http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.php?&Number=802377 And you could download the free update to Pro Tools LE 6.9: http://www.digidesign.com/download/69/lewin/
