Default Thunderbolt 3 monitor - overkill for Pro Audio setup?

It feels like my iMac works harder with my new TB 3 monitor connected to it.

Should I just get a good ol' USB screen again?

What do you guys use/recommend?

This is the new monitor below (good price/quality and all but..):

Samsung F32TU874VN 31.5" 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) 60Hz LED Monitor
