Default Classik Studio Reverb

I just picked this up for $42 from AudioDeluxe. I'm not necessarily a fan of IK multimedia's method of delivery (CS Custom Shop) but I did need a set of decent AAX reverbs. I can't afford the 2C reverbs I had my eye on, and Reverb One just isn't cutting it for me.

Anyone else use these? Anyone have a copy of those free presets that are no longer available on soundsdivine.com?

Hey Mesa

That was a great deal actually, I believe we paid around 150 bucks for that a year ago As you pointed out, Not a fan of IK stuff overall and as sad as it is to say, we have never used this bundle or any singles on any production we made or make for A-Listers, sounds cheap and plastic but maybe if you don't have record companies up your behind chasing you to say stuff sound "flat" it might be of use but if you want I will try to find the presets, think they were free a while ago from soundsdivine and when / if Infind them I will PM you. They are in a very small file and shouldn't be hard to send to you.

Just so you know, those presets are old now and I think you can do a much better job on your own, but I'll try to smoke them out for ya

Best Holliday Wishes
Christopher

Yes, it is AAX. And it's a great sounding reverb, different from anything else out there.

Cool I'll check it out. I believe all IK stuff is 50% off until end of December plus the audiodeluxe discount. I also want to grab the fender amplitubes and maybe the 33609 emulation, thing sounds great.

That's a bummer. I'm sure I'll find something to like about it (and maybe I'll find them delightful all around). I usually use a light touch with verbs, using them to "leaven" an instrument, rather than try to put the instrument in any particular space.

That would be great, thanks! Yes, they were offered for free. I think far too much of software developers to sneak past a paywall.

I actually really like the CSR suite of reverbs. I use them regularly for all sorts of things. Especially like the plate and room verbs like Albee mentioned. There's a really nice ambiance to them, I think...and you have quite a bit of tweakability to them.

I just got an email from Simon Ball at Soundsdivine.com

He sent me the CSR presets. That was very nice of him. I'm sure he would not object to me sharing them, so PM me if you would like a copy.

I like CSR. I haven't used them in a very long time (Exponential and Lexicon are covering nearly all reverb duties) but when they were in rotation I thought they sounded very good.
