Default I am unable to zoom in or out on the mini-keyboard in the editing window

I'm back to Pro tools (after two years of Samplitude) and I forgot some things... I am unable to zoom in or out on the mini-keyboard in the editing window. Here we see two midi tracks with different zooms, but I don't know how to restore the top one as the bottom one.

Hmmm, we don't see anything, so let's back up a bit and try as I am not clear on what you are looking for, or what this "mini-keyboard in the editing window" actually is. I'm guessing you are referring to the set of keys that are there for tapping in midi notes? That is all it is made to do(no editing function I am aware of). As for zoom, with keyboard focus enabled, the R and T keys will zoom in/out horizontally. I can't remember a key command for vertical zoom(so checking the shortcuts list may reveal that one). Meanwhile, you can click and drag the lower edge of any track to make it as tall as you like.

See picture. The two keyboards do not have the same zoom, despite the fact that the height of the tracks is almost the same.
