pt6 and firewire video

Hi all , I did a search but couldnt find anybody
using the firewire out option.
when I load up a video quicktime it plays fine
but how do I output via firewire, all my options
are greyed out

You need a firewire deck, or converter like the Canopus ADVC100 to convert the firewire video to an ntsc signal for your tv. It works well.

Ok so I have the Firewire output connected to a sony deck and have a quicktime that was rendered in media 100 loaded but it still wont let me
access the dv pulldowns, any ideas on what im doing wrong??

You need to use the NTSC DV compressor and have it set to 720x480 D1 px aspect ratio.
