pt6 and firewire video
Hi all , I did a search but couldnt find anybody
using the firewire out option. when I load up a video quicktime it plays fine but how do I output via firewire, all my options are greyed out Thanks for your help Cheers Laswell |

You need a firewire deck, or converter like the Canopus ADVC100 to convert the firewire video to an ntsc signal for your tv. It works well.

Ok so I have the Firewire output connected to a sony deck and have a quicktime that was rendered in media 100 loaded but it still wont let me
access the dv pulldowns, any ideas on what im doing wrong?? |

You need to use the NTSC DV compressor and have it set to 720x480 D1 px aspect ratio.
