Scorch 1.1 update now available!

Hi All,

I’m pleased to announce that Scorch v1.1 is available on the app store and is free for all existing Scorch users. The new update includes many features and improvements in direct response to feedback from customers, including:

Compatibility with iOS 5
Previews on all scores in the Scorch Store
Open and store any PDF file in the Scorch Library
The display now follows the playback line, keeping it in view at all times
When zoomed-in on a score in Music Stand Mode, tapping advances to the next half of the page
‘Remove my changes’ button allows you to return a score to its original state
Plus over 90 bug fixes and other enhancements

I updated to ver 1.1 and now I am having problems wi the search function. When I do a search and locate the file I want to open Scorch opens the first song listed. I deleted the app and all the files and re installed Scorch. The problem is still happening with just the scores that are installed with the app. Please help!

When I enter a word in the search field, a list of songs with that word in the name is displayed. When i tap on the song I want to open, Scorch does not open the song I tapped on. Instead it opens the first song in the list. This was working fine before I upgraded to 1.1.

Joe, Am I the only one with this problem or is this something that is affecting everyone?

I have a new iPad, and I'm a Sibelius user and a professional musician. I thought the idea of Scorch for the iPad to be a great one. The problem is that Scorch crashes every time I try and open a file. It launches, but as soon as I select a file to open it crashes. I tried reinstalling it, rebooting my iPad -- the usual fixes. None have worked.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

I am using 1.1 and an iPAD 2. I get the occasional problem of a file failing to open it reports a problem, second time the file opens but the top menu bar is funny. This is usually after I have been to the store or used shelf view. I totally power down the ipad, open scorch in list view and try not to use any of the other features. It seems to behave for a bit then.
