Virtual instruments and latency
Hi, i use B4 II and M-Tron, Garritan Personal Orchestra. Do instrument tracks have latency? If so, how I determine the latency induced by a virtual instrument? I know that when using a effects processor or another kind of plugin, if I apple + double click on the volume indicator in the channel strip, it'll tell me in samples the latency induced by that plugin, but for a virtual inst, it reads zero. Or, ie, when i record a virtual inst track of b4 or mtron, will I have to nudge the track?...

Re: Virtual instruments and latency
Look up 'MIDI Track Offsets' in the Reference Guide.
