Default plugin reverb for vocals, your favorite?

TDM and RTAS...what sounds best on vocals? I like AltiVerb and Lexiverb in the TDM world. Anyone having luck with Dverb or the WAVES stuff?

Eventide TDM Reverb -- very clear and not heavy sounding. Works very well for me on vocals.

Not sexy, but I gotta say I keep coming back to the d-verb. Simple to tweak, and just ends up sounding good.

I like TC Megaverb and Reverb One, although TC is the easiest to get a great sound. I think it's about as easy as D-verb and may better sounding to me. I ave the three that I just mentioned and I always go back to TC Megaverb unless I want sonething different, and then I'll use Reverb One. I've used those, Lexiverb, Realverb, The Waves verb and probably a few others, but I have not heard the Eventide reverb, or the convilution ones yet. I hear they are outstanding.

Wow.....the severe pitch problems on the tails of D-verb prevent me from using it on anything except percussion

I vote Revibe.

D-Verb and Pitch problems. . . I don't understand?

Renaissance Verb from Waves is a decent all around reverb plugin. . . I have not heard the Eventide.

Run anything with a tone to it thru D-verb (try a single piano note)....listen to the tail and you can hear the pitch gently swell and fall. Most times drastically. Remember this was a big advertising point of the TC M3000....

I have Pantheon (Lexicon) in a VST version. They also have a 5.1 version. Killer verb! I suspect the Lexiverb has a similar feel.

I prefer outboards for most of my final verbs. Don't forget about delays with feedback. Often overlooked if you are looking for that 'far out' touch are delays with just the right amount of feedback. Your standard Digi RTAS delays are quite good at this.
