Default link track and edit selection not working (for me)? P7.4cs3

Hi.

From pg448 in the reference guide it appears that enabling this function should make it possible to change track views and track heights of selected tracks in one go, its not happening for me?

I enable it. I select some regions and their respective tracks become selected. But when I change the track height or track view in the usual way (by clicking on one of the selected tracks the little arrow) it just changes for that track only.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
Matt
