Help! Protools Won't install correctly
Hi, I'm just off the ground from a particularly aggravating case of reinstalling protools multiple times.
My problem started when I reinstalled my protools on my Macbook, it failed to install. Searching the forums I was instructed to install each piece of installation separately. Ok, that worked but with the new Mac operating system (OSX) Protools 9 is not compatible. This is where the problem occurs, first I chose the 9.0.5 patch that specifically dealt with this issue, then I separately tried patching 9.0.6. With both cases I got the same result: Failed to Install patch, then for some reason it deletes my Protools Application! So every time I try to patch and fail, I have to reinstall protools. I just want to get my protools working again, but I'm not sure what to do, any advice? I really appreciate any help! |
