Default Help: BF Essentials

What are the Correlation Meter, Noise Meter and the Meter Bridge good for? What tell me the displays of these BF Essential Plug-ins?
For example: I use the FXpansion BFD Drum Modul. A single kick drum hit makes the needle of the correlation meter pop over +1.0. A slight single hi-hat hit goes up to +0.4, a hard hi-hat hit goes up to +1.0. During playback of the whole song with guitares and bass and all the stuff the needle stays at over +1.0 and does not move. What does that tell me?
What shows me the Noise Meter and how do the filters work?
And my last question: What means "RMS" and "peak" on the noise meter and meter bridge panel?

Thanks for your help.

The free Bomb factory plugs (aside from the very useful compressor) are free with good reason.
The tuner can be somewhat useful, but it's a pretty slow responder. Just forget you have all that other junk.

I actually used the Funk Logic Masterizer (is that what it's called?) in a track for a client a couple of weeks ago

Funk Logic is a hoot. A lot of folks don't know that it was developed as a joke, but I too have used it on some stuff.

I've used the meter bridge for matching volumes of songs when I preparing a compilation to burn. It's very easy with the visual feedback from the plug.

The correlator meter is useful to check some phase shift issues. At minus 1 or circa seems there is some phase cancellation that can occur.Useful if your ears are rubbish cause it's easily noticable.
For a full mix the needle should dance between 0 and +1.
The Phasescope works better and is loads more sensitive.
I've never use the others appart from the tuner.
That's all I know about that.

Any device with a ON/More-On switch is good in my book

Funklogic only helped me to created the creative radio or vinyl sound for an intro or outro.
Unless your mix is too clean (who would complain about that?) your can use it to avoid the sudden drop between two tracks (digital silence black out!).Thus between two tracks you can insert that noise very gently allowing the mastering function: Audio during pause. It gives good results, it emulate a kind of room ambience, even if it's better to get a real one. Then your album will sound as if it had been recorded in one go.Do I make sense?
