Dead MBox Pro 3?
A few weeks ago my new Mbox Pro stopped working, when i switched it on it simply wouldn't power up. The pin on my power supply got dented a little while previous to this and i got the end replaced. At first I thought it was the power supply so I took it back to the repair shop and they tested it and said it was fine. I then realised that it was something inside the MBox. The little LED on the power supply itself lights up fine, but no power at all is getting into the Mbox... Is it possible that some component has burned out even though the machine was only 4 months old and hadn't even been heavily used? Up until this point I hadn't even seen an error message, my system was working perfectly until it just stopped.
Does anyone have any idea what this might be? And is it repairable or will it have to be replaced? I'm a Music Technology student and this is my last 2 months in college, but i can't do any work at home until i resolve this problem so ANY HELP at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Aaron Ross |
