32 + 66!! *490 D-Verbs* We're into HD 10 country now... (barely)

Thats an HD 10 all the way in regards to plugin power.

1 Accel card has 9 DSP chips. 2 x 100 Mhz chips and 7 x 220 MHz chips. You can get 4 Dverbs on each 100 Mhz chips and 6 Dverbs on each 220 Mhz chip. So, around 50 Dverbs total on one Accel card. An HD 10, if one were to exist, would have one core card and 9 Accel cards. So you're slightly above the HD 10 mark in regards to plugin power.

Not bad for an M-Audio PT rig.

That's pretty impressive. However, for scientific purposes, you need to reproduce this experiment at least one more place which is why we're all waiting for Shane to get his gear. If the seconf board confirms it, then we've found perfect Quad.

Yeah, I also noticed the price cut. Time to build those quads boys.

The Quad-cores on one CPU are around the corner. AMD is showing them in June.

I just stacked my dual core Intel Macs and can pull off unlimited processors now as ProTools draws from my system. How cool is that?

We need to have a talk about your new MacIntel advertisements in the PC forum bro-ski. You've been brainwashed and now we have to convert you back. Dr. Allenstein is starting to act funny.

And its too bad that the Intel Duo chips are only 32-bit.... soo.. Its not going to help you very much when everything goes 64bit.

Anyways. Shan have you been able to get that other mobo to see if you get similar results as 3j?
