Default What??? MBox3, 8.05 No Hardware Setup Dialog Box!!

So, MBox 3, 8.05 - I do not get a dialog box when when I select Hardware... from the Setup Menu. Nothing comes on screen. I NEED TO set the S/PDIF option but cannot get to it because this dialog box will not open.

Is this a know issue?

I went back to 8.04. I no loner get the "personality missing" prompt box but I still cannot get a Dialog box to come up when I select Hardware under the Setup window. Is this a know MBox 3 issue????? I am using Leopard, not Snow Leopard. does that make a difference?

I went back to 8.0 - I did get a dialog box when I selected Setup>Hardware... but it l;ooked strange and did not allow me to select S/PDIF.

I stepped up to 8.01 and once again nothing happens when I select Setup>Hardware...no dialog box comes up at all!

8.04 - No dialog box comes up
8.05 - no dialog box comes up.

Please, Digi Support - I do not want to have to take the MBox 3 back just because of this. I am on a iMac Dual processor and am running Leopard 10.5.8

I used the Utility Folder panel that came with my 8.04 version and followed the instructions. It did not get rid of the problem.

So, if I access the MBox3 from the System Preferences Menu (get the software Dialog box) I can select S/PDIF tab and I can select S/PDIF in the I/O Mix Window. It is too late to hook up the synth tonight to check out if I get sound or not...

However...Setup>Hardware....from the Menu up top I still do not get a Dialog Box to open. Is there no such thing as a Hardware... Dialog box in 8.01 on when using an Mbox3? Is so, why is the selection option still there.

I am tired. It is 1:30 in the morning....I just want my new MBox to work.
