Default PT 5.1.3 to DP3, OFM or Digitranslator

I'm looking for some advice on how to sucessfuly transfer session info and audio without going insane. I have Pro-Tools 5.1.3 mix + and my friend has Digital Performer 3.0.1. Neither one of us realy want to spend twice the time at each other's studio in order to get this project done. I'm not all that familiar with either OFM or Digitranslator. If anyone could help with their opinion and proceedure tips, I would grately appreciate it.
Thanx in advance!
