These plugins are AAX native only there is no plans for AAX dsp versionss

iZotope has always done Native only plugs. There are no current HD versions so its not particularily suprising there no AAX DSP planned.

Even so, it would be very valuable if Izotope would do DSP versions of at least the plugs we might want to track with like Nectar, Alloy2, Trash2 and even the Advanced version of Ozone5 (with its detachable modules).

Just because they didn't do TDM (and why would they? TDM was already long long obsolete by the time they were becoming a major player) doesn't mean they can't start with DSP. With Waves dropping out, it opens a huge space in the "Pro Market" for all their competition. If I were a plug manufacturer, I'd jump all over Wave's decision to abandon their TDM customers.

I agree with this. And theres no reason they couldn't do this if they wanted. I don't have Alloy or Nectar but have only heard good things about them. I assume they are also not dealing with old code bases and have written these plugs in modern languages making them a little easier to port. Although thats pure speculation on my part.

I do see a parallel between these and a suite like Renaissance. It would hard NOT to recommend Alloy or Nectar to a someone just getting started in Pro Tools. I suspect that once PT 11 drops and we see what type of performance its capable of and HDX is a year older we may see some DSP ports of existing plugs if the market is there.
