Plugs
Hey,
i just purchased a new imac. on my old computer i had pro tools 8. i have a lot of plug ins on my old mac computer. and i would like to get them on my new imac to. But i will still use my old mac so the plugs may not be deleted. so is it possible to copy the plugs and put i down on a ekstern harddisk and then have the plugs on both computers? my problem is i dont know how to get the plugs whit installer file and every thing down to a harddisk. please help:) Thankyou |

Most plugins can just be downloaded and installed from their websites. This is usually the best way to go.
If anything is authorized by Ilok, that won't be a problem, as you just move your Ilok from one computer to another. In the case of plugins that are authorized by serial number, you'll have to check with each site to see what their rules are about installing on more than one computer. |
