Dave, the clock thing is a known defect. There are several threads on DUC covering the symptoms, etc.

I'm under the impression that Avid will make good on this regardless of whether you're the original owner.

Chris - the PM functionality on my account has been "disabled by Administrator". Thoughts on my clock issue? I appreciate anything you can do.

i normally run at 48khz for everything possible, so that issue wouldn't effect me 99% of the time. when it would effect me is after mixing down and i'm testing the final 44.1khz 16bit master before burning a cd. unless you have another interface for that reason, i would call AVID and see about sending it in for repair. the crystal that causes the problem is fairly easy to replace and is only a couple of bucks, but i have heard of stories that AVID replaced the entire eleven rack instead of repair it...i would hope for that!
