Behringer DDX3216 Digital Mixer Anyone use it? *DELETED*

I purchased an ada8k, it's... good.
let's be honest, it's no avalon, but, it did a great job handling my drums. I used them on everything except my overheads. I was happy with the result... and it's a VERY reliable unit. I have had zero problems with my behringer ada8k. personally I would've rather saved up my cash and snagged something better, and.. that is a recommendation. but.. if you truly are hurting for inputs or preamps.. I guess ya gotta make do with what ya can... like I am.

....and I'm not doing too bad. =D

ahh... I don't care.

I admit, if I had the cash to buy a fricken.... god, I have a laundry list of gear I'd love to buy, but hey.. I do the best with what I have. and to be honest, I'm PROUD of my mixes. no longer am I among those that produces.... ugly, unbalanced, sonically just.. filthy mixes.

....no doubt guys, behringer is low quality, but that doesn't mean the mixes, the MUSIC itself, or the person behind the mixing desk sucks or does low quality work. it all comes down to how it affects the listener, doesn't it?. ....like I said, I'm proud of my mixes, even if I have behringer gear in my signal path. ....I've heard worse stuff come out of studios that have gear that's a zillion times better than mine.
What do the purists have to say about that? ..thus, I'm not insulted. =D

30 years in and around music (intimately I'm sure) and you're using an ada8k that'll get'cha buy.


at the end of the day it really is about the music.

Just to make myself feel more "weathered" than I already do this morning, this year marks my 36th year as a guitarist.

As you can imagine, I've associated with many guitar players along the way.
A few that the public recognizes... many more unknowns.

I've come to believe that, the best players carry 90% of the tone in their fingers.
