Unstability
Without a doubt, PT is the most unstable program I've ever used! I never know what is going to happen no matter where I click. Everytime I press the spacebar I wonder if I'm going to crash. Its really getting embarrassing trying to lay down vocals and nothing works properly. There has got to be a better solution than trashing prefs and reinstalling. How many times am I suppossed to reinstall with a client sitting next to me? Right now I'm trying to export tracks from several projects to mix in one project. I'm about halfway there and I've crashed PT about 5 times now. It randomly quits at different stages of the export. Any ideas and/or suggestions?

Re: Unstability
matt - Have you done ALL the steps in the 'OSX Setup and General Troubleshooting' thread? I need to make sure because there are plenty of things there besides trashing preferences.
Please let me know which steps you've taken, specifically, and then we can look at other options. |
