Dark Mode Question - Tracks appear muted
With dark mode, my tracks look visually similar to if they were muted. When I click on them them appear "normal".
Visual issue only - anyone else see this?

Re: Dark Mode Question - Tracks appear muted
Dark mode......Hmmmm.....interesting Okay, back to your question. Which version of PT are you running? Since Dark mode's introduction, each subsequent release has improved it a bit. The latest(2021.6) adds a serious bunch of options with an expanded menu and those settings are well worth checking out. Next; your monitor can have a huge affect on PT, especially if you use a TV as I did for several years, so maybe fuss with brightness and contrast a bit. Personally, I keep trying Dark mode and keep going back to Classic mode(which you can do on the first tab of Preferences).

Re: Dark Mode Question - Tracks appear muted
Thanks Albee,
sorry if the set up is vague - I'm on the latest version of PT - It's not the monitor or Display settings within PT. Imagine a midi clip - it appears as if it is inactive (visually only) but if I click on it, it become "highlighted" or "selected" and in this state it appears to be what I would consider the normal view.

Re: Dark Mode Question - Tracks appear muted
It may be this is just the new normal, I was just hoping I could reverse the views.

Re: Dark Mode Question - Tracks appear muted
This may be a better description -
The clip is dark, the note has color. Rather than the clip having color and the note being dark.

Re: Dark Mode Question - Tracks appear muted
You can change that in the Color Palette settings. Fiddle around with them while a full session (MIDI & Audio Clips, Folder Tracks, etc) is open and see what you like. Remember to save, and use the UI saving fix (see pro-tools-expert.com) if you haven’t done that yet, and are using a Mac.
