Eucon personality issue

Hi everybody. First of all sorry for my english, i'm italian. Well, the problem is simple. When I try to enable the EUCON button in "PT 10 Educational" it gives me an error saying: "Error occurred while trying to load the controller personality "EUCON".

I have: Windows 7 64bit and I would like to use my Mc Mix

Does anyone know why?

Check my previous posts. I had the same problem. You have to set the ip4 address to a fixed number and then you have to install the software after.

I am using a network switch with my PC and my Mc Control plugged into the ports on the switch. I have internet access with the switch as well. The only reason I am using a switch instead of a router is I have a second WIFI network in my studio. So this will work with either a router or a switch.

Actually just try to set the ip address and reboot and see if it works...

I set my firewall to medium protection and now windows see the Mix but, when I open PT and I try to enable the EUCON button it gives always the same messagge So what is the problem now? What do I have to do

I would reinstall the software and reboot. Are you going through a router?

Thanks to all but I solved. I set different ip and now everything works. However, I have already decided to dedicate this pc, previously configured for the game, for music only and buy a laptop for everything else.

How did you get it to work? Im having the same issue. How did you change the iP address I tried it but it still didn't work. What was your process?
