Default Delay or latency on recorded tracks

Hi folks,

I'm running pro tools 7.3.1 on a power mac os 10.4.8
Lately every time I record a track, its sounds fine as its recording. But when I go and listen back to it, the recorded track is about half a second late.
Ive been told this has something to do w/ my midi set up?
I have my 002 configured so I can control soft synths with an external sequencer. But ive been doing this for months and just ran into this problem yesterday.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

thx

DEE

I am having the same problem. It just started, the system was working fine a few days ago - now, it is pushing the recorded events forward a split second - after recording is stopped.

The only change was that I added a Command 8.

Any thoughts?
