Mac Mini Intel users question

Hi,

I'm a new (lo budget) Pro Tools LE user with a PPC Mini G4, classic MBox plus a compatible La Cie drive.
Which is working fine with some great support and hints from DUC/Dougfather.

I'm contemplating upgrading the G4 Mini 1.5 Ghz/1GB RAM to a Mac Mini 1.83GHz Intel
Core Duo with 2 MB/RAM and would like to know if anyone's using that or a similar setup?

If so, what is the current status of Pro Tools 7.1.1. and Pro Tools LE - is it working or not?

I am also interested in hearing any inputs on the Intel Mac mini and Pro Tools LE. I did a search and didn't find much. I would like to get the usual information on track count and plug in headroom with this system. A good friend is looking to move from a PC to a Mac and wants to run Pro Tools (hasn't used it yet).
