Default Quick question for HDX users (ins-plugs)

In protools HDX, when you insert a plugin or create a new track while the sequence is playing, does protools still do the temporary glitch-hiccup thing?
I was mixing in HD native and noticed it was a lot smoother when adding plugins, (still not as smooth as logic) sometimes it did'nt stall but always stalled when adding a new track.
Just wondering about HDX...

HDX is way smoother TDM plugins load faster and things like turning on delay comp and Heat are almost instant. On TDM turing on DC required you to close the session.

I don't think that glitch will ever disappear completely. adding an insert is like adding a physical devise to your signal chain. No matter how fast you insert those patch chords into your patch panel, you'll hear a glitch.

Same on an analog desk, Even that 'in' switch on eq or dynamics will likely create an audible glitch when you hit it.

That's completely different. On a console the glitch is so fast and it's only on the track you're inserting the eq or comp. On PT the glitch occurs on the hole audio even if you're inserting on the kick track...

Yeah that's the one I was talking about, where the whole session audio stalls, I figured it was the HD cards in general but in native it is much better when inserting eq's, I was hoping that HDX was an improvement. No big deal though, sama as it ever was.....
