PT 2020.12 Video import bug (or feature?)

Hi,
I just upgraded the PT rig at the studio where I work to 2020.12
(last version possible, because I am stuck to OSX 10.13.6 because of no-metal graphic card on the MacPro 5.1).

So far everything is pretty cool - only thing is when I import videos and have the "import audio from file" option enabled PT does import the audio but only places it in the clip list - not on a new track as in earlier versions.
Is this a bug or a new feature? There are no new options in the import video window neither in the preferences...

No big thing but as I always import the video's audio for reference I just noticed this new behavior.

this issue was resolved in Pro Tools 2021.3.

from the Release Notes:

- Importing multiple videos to the timeline will once again place the videos consecutively on the timeline with the audio on the same track (PT-268071)
- Audio is no longer placed in the Clip List if "Main Video Track" is chosen when importing a video (PT-269555)

PT 2020.11 also does not have this issue that I know of.
