Default Maxim presets won't load

I'm trying to use Maxim's "Radio Limiter" preset, but it is not showing up in Pro Tools 11 on Windows 10.
I can see the Radio Limiter preset in the User Library c:\Users\MyUserName\Documents\Pro Tools\ but all that opens in Maxim is factory default.

When I go to import Radio Limiter.tfx, I get this error message:

"These files could not be imported because there are already settings files with that names in the plug-in's settings folder: Radio Limiter.tfx"

Please help!

Your description is a bit confusing as to how you are trying to load a preset. If you look at the plugin(any Avid plugin), across the top you will see Preset. Directly below that is a button that says . Clicking on that SHOULD open a list of presets.

Having said that, Maxim is a rather simple plugin with only a few parameters, so I suggest tweaking until it sounds the way you want(and be aware that it is NOT a highly-regarded plugin for mastering). Here's a youtube tutorial on using it:

I suggest trying the lowest version of iZotope Ozone for simple mastering(assuming you are NOT using Pro Tools First)

Thanks, Albee. I ended up manually loading the presets into the Maxim Plugin Settings folder (even though they were already there), rebooted, and the presets are there now.

Not sure why PT didn't see them, but I'm good now.

I was using Maxim for this project as it's a radio broadcast client, and they use this exact preset in Maxim for their commercial spots. So I wanted to make sure I matched their specs.
