digi 002 rack firmware updater

Hi there,

i apologize to everybody here for the stupid question i am askin but i don't know the way to work on this thing.

I must update the firmware of the digi 002 rack and i wanna know the way i can do it 'cause i don't know where is this download on digidesign web site( i haven't internet connection on the audio system).

Also i ve got protools le 8 but not the standalone of the digi 002 rack ,i m in a deadline i don't know where i can find this issue.

Also i ve got xp pro service pack 3 and well can youhelp me about this issue?

Its confusing but simple. The "download" is actually part of the software install and you simply click OK and let the 002 update(which can take 10 minutes or more) No internet connection is needed and no other steps are needed.

Did you notice and midi connection problems after this update. Mac dual 1.8 G5 Protools 8.1. Before I upped to 8.1 the software after several sessions in 8.0 just came up with a firmware update for the 002 standalone I have. Now no midi from my Radium 49 controller. However it shows in the apple profiler. No blinky lights on the 002. Any help would be appreciated.
