Default would anyone be interested in a cd with rythm-loops?

I am thinking about the idea to produce a loop-cd. This cd would have loops with several original rythms on various instruments, such as conga's, bongo's, djembe, guirosticks etc.

Would anyone be interested in buying it?

Does anyone has suggestions on what should be on there?

I have a CD like that of acid loops. It's called "Mark Anderson's Dragon Dance" - all World Percussion loops. It's really good, but it doesn't always work for me. The problem I have with it, is that the rhythms are as exotic as the drums themselves. While realistic, I have to really work to fit them into 4/4 music, which is 95% of what I do.

So if your loops were less esoteric and more representative of what I'd throw into a rock song, then I might be interested.

I'll buy anything at the right price Seriously though, perhaps post some sample loops?

I'd be interested in such a loop CD.
Especially if it contained one-shots at different impact points/velocities that I could import into Gigasampler.

Mmm...yummy.

Thanks,
Rhett

Hi guys,
Bastiaan recently sent me a small sample of some percussion he engineered and mixed. It was excellent, and obviously superior to my percussion samples. It was VERY present, extremely clear, and well played. So, if he can come up with a sizeable collection of the same type of work, I would highly recommend getting and using it.

Lol @ Pieter.....yeah i know you are dutch...so am i....

Roy, the cd would be played by the same person that you heard on the sample i sent you.

For the others.....

The person that is going to play for me is a professional percussionist, and will play all kinds of music. I am planning on making several loops that you can mix to get the "human groove" right. She is very very tight on timing and will reject loops that are not good. The loops will be from simple and basic to more complicated. I will also get all sort of measures, like 3/3 4/4 etc...(i dont really know how to say it in english, but i mean with 3 beats in the measure like a waltz and 4 in a measure like normal rock etc....)

I would love to post the sample i sent to Roy, but i first have to talk that through with her. Sorry guys...
