X-Form License Activation

Hi Guys

I'm running Pro Tools 10 newly installed, my issue is, when I boot up Pro Tools it says I don't have a license for x-form! I was under the impression it came with the standard audiosuite plugins. Have checked my license on the avid site and it seems I cant DL it from there or iLok.

Does it not come free? Do I have to buy a license to make it work?

No it doesn't come free with Pro Tools 10, you'll have to buy it to get the license.

Sometimes the installer discs/downloads come with the installers for the optional paid plugins and people accidently install them, which is probably what happened here.

As mentioned, you can buy X-Form, but it's expensive to buy new. You can also buy the license used from someone else cheaper.

Keep in mind that Protools does come with free plugins that alter pitch and time, plus it has Elastic Audio, so you do have some options that are already included.

Unfortunate that it doesn't come with Pro Tools 10, use it in Uni quite a bit and like the sound of it over the other audiosuite plugins and the elastic audio, which I find goes very digital sounding quite quick when you push it.
