Does anyone experience issues with controlling imput volume when using a condensor mic with the MBOX using phantom power.
I have an AKG C535 condensor mic. It seems when I am trying to adjust the level using the level on source 1 on the mbox (set to 'mic')...I turn it completely down and I still get a strong signal. Why is this? Needless to say there is no ability to control imput level when I am recording as it stands right now. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here....just can't get my head around this. |

Your doing everything right. I control my condensor mic with the level knob. 48 phantom power on, and set to mic input.
