Finder? Is that a MacintoshMusicMachine? I don´t know about the first message, but the second one is a usual followup of a bigger error, i´d say. System is confused. Doesn´t know whether in and out. up or down. left or right. Can´t exit ProTools propperly. And there....DAE, left behind, all alone, still stuck in some process.
I´d think it´s something with ur finder.

Do you have any application running rewire with PT? (Such as Reason or something)
If that is the case, you have to close these before you can shutdown.
I´m neither a Mac nor Digi 001 user, so I could be barking up the wrong tree.

Cheers!

And don't get me wrong, i couldnt care less what OS/platform you use, but this is so OS specific that we honestly cannot give any useful answer. So to get an answer you can use you really should post in the mac-forum.
