Recording/ Playback Issue

Hi,

I was recording a demo on PT LE, v8.0.3, which I've done hundreds of times and came across a new issue:
-I enabled track to record
-Played gtr to hear level
-Hit record and watched levels
-Stopped record and hit playback

NOTHING

-Closed out of PT
-Saved session
-Opened session and listened to gtr previously unheard upon playback

Please help.

Did you see the building of the waveforms on the recording track while recording ?
When listening after the recording, was input monitoring still selected ?
