( mac pro + 002 ) performance configuration tips ?

new to ( setting up my own ) pro tools LE

any body got any good ideas as to setting up my new
mac pro 2.66ghz for optimal performance with LE ?
my set up looks a bit like this

Digi 002 -pro tools 7.1.1cs2
OSX TIGER 10.4.8

Mac Pro 2.66ghz
3 GB of ram
1 x 250 gb 5400 rpm system drive
3 X 500 gb 7200 rpm storage ( audio record / play back volumes? )
+ 1 FW 400 / 400 GB drive

i have a few other questions .
but i think i'll start another topic
( re: trying to use LE between two computers??? network ?? is it possible )

i also have an (OS X TIGER 10.4.8 ibook g4 1.42 with 1.5 gb of RAM to host all the PPC plug-ins that i just can't use
