Structure Drag n Drop stereo from PT

After playing (learning!) with Structure (full version) for a while, I have this problem: the drag n drop from PT works fine EXCEPT that stereo regions (from timeline or regionlist) allways becomes 2 files in the patch, and not a stereo file.
If I export a given stereo region as a stereo file, and then import that file through Structure's browser, it comes in as a stereo.
Any suggestions?

PT 7.3cs4, PowerMacG5, OSX 10.4.8 combo
