Is more than 4gigs of Ram helpful?
I'm considering moving some RAM around between systems. Right now I have 4g in a dual 2.0 G5 running PT HD3. I can bump that up to 8g, but will more than 4g really make a difference? I use a lot of RTA instruments and run out of processing power from time to time. The long term fix is a new box I know, but will more RAM help anything for now?
Thanks, Aubrey

Re: Is more than 4gigs of Ram helpful?
It did for me. The whole system runs a lot smoother since I bumped up to 6,5.
