Default Outboard reverbs connected digitally above 48k?

Hi,

I have my 2 Eventide's connected digitally AES via software inserts, but just discovered that this doesn't work above 48k. I was hoping/expecting it to somehow sample convert and still work, but the Eventide's go into mute when connected above 48k.

Any obvious solution that i'm missing or work arounds? Obviously i can connect them analogue, but my analogues are being used for other insert duties on compressors etc.

Chris

if you have a digi interface you can apply sample rate conversion to the outputs. Go to Setup>Hardware to do so....

Actually, it’s the inputs that feature real time SRC on a 192 I/O, not the outputs. (192 I/O Manual, pages 6 & 19.)

obviously I was wrong...

how about trying adat.. Adat only allow upto 48KHZ without using double pipe. would the digi interface automatically downsample then?

What model Eventide is it. Does it even do 96K?

Hi,

They are 2 x Eventide DSP400 & DSP4500 both work upto 48k only!

I am routing them through the Digital AES i/o from 2 x 96i/o.

Even if i did use the 192 AES digital, the sample rate conversion is only for the inputs! so looks like i'l stumped for now, unless i can find a sample rate converter of some description.

Check the Behringer site ,they have a cheapo 96k converter that should do the job.
