Default RTAS instrument-- not being recognized by PTLE

Hey All,
I'm having problems, racking my brain on using my Plugsound Fretted Instruments RTAS plugin with Pro Tools LE 6.1.1.

I recently installed my Waves Diamond bundle, and all of the Waves plugins were immediately recognized by Pro Tools Le, and listed in my audiosuite plugins list.

However, Plugsound Fretted Instruments is not being recognized. Plugsound is not installed like a normal plugin, you simply copy the .dll and .dat files into the desired folder. However, no matter where I copy it (I've even tried the folder with my waves plugins), nothing works.

Any ideas?

Thank you so much!
-Peace and Respect,

RTAS dont use .dll. RTAS uses .dpm and .dpm.rsr If you only have .dll then you have a VST and not RTAS version.

little update. Plugsound is RTAS for Mac. For PC, its only VST or DirectX. You've been had. Looks like you'll need the Fxpansion Rtas VST wrapper.

Hey Cliffy, thanks for the info. I had this plugin for my last system running VST, not realizing the RTAS was Mac only. Oh well... looks like I have to pickup FXPansion sooner than I thought.

looks like I'll drop the $80 on FXpansion. Unless anyone knows where I can find it cheaper...

Thanks again Cliffy. Have a good weekend.

Damn. And I paid full price! Still the best $100 bucks I've ever spent.

The hassles of being Canadian - we get stuck paying full retail for everything.
