Useless Track Pad

People seem to instist on complaing about the Trackpad in the Scrubwheel Thread, so I decided to complain on my own!

I can't really complain about the trackpad myself, I have never even attempted to use it. I just can't stand them to begin with, so Digis doesn't seem any worse than the others.

The Trackball on the Edit pack. . . . errrr. . . .excuse me. . . . the $8000 USB keyboard. . . . is infuriating! I have 2 edit packs, and I was pretty happy when one of the trackballs continued working for over 3 weeks! After all, the other one broke after 2 weeks.

Digi decided that it was a better idea to seal the trackball rather than seal the optics. This way when the optics inevitably (immediately) get dusty, it is impossible to remove the ball to clean the optics.

On both of my Edit packs I removed the whole mechanism and just used the whole to run the USB cable for my 2 Turbo Mouse Pros. I couldn't be happier.
