Default what version of pt le?

i apologize in advance for what may be a obvious question. i've got an mbox 2 and a macbook pro running OSX 10.8.2. what version of protools le should i be running? obviously the latest possible would be the obvious choice, but given it's an older generation mbox im just not sure if that would require an older version of le.

any advice is appreciated, thanx!

I don't think any version of LE will work. I think you need 10.3.3(but it should work with an Mbox 2).

My first reply was short but you may want/need a little more info. Since PT9 rolled out, there is no more "LE". Also, be aware that your Mbox 2 will likely NOT work with PT11(which doesn't mean you can't continue with 10 until you decide to change interfaces). One great thing that happened with the release of 9(and 10) is; you are no longer tied to Digidesign/Avid hardware(so your next interface could be from RME, MOTU, Focusrite, etc...anything with a working ASIO driver(or Core Audio driver for Mac). I run 10HD software with my 003 and it works great(assuming a compatible computer)
