Default Dealing with fader moves and mutes with Elastic

Hey guys,

I have been trying to mix several songs with a crappy drummer. I still haven't got the full grasp of Elastic Audio, but I am learning. I made a tempo map following a post from elicious made sometime last year.

My problem is I have previously done some mutes and fades moves trying to get the tracks I am going to use sounding decent. Well, Elastic made the adjustments of the audio, but the mutes and fader moves are in their original spots.

Any way to make the fader moves and mutes move with the elasticized audio?

Ouch, I don't know of a way to do that(but maybe someone else does). In any case, its a good lesson to EA first, before doing any mix automation. If you are running PT8, expand the lanes to show your automation in separate lanes so you can see the wave form as a reference for moving automation break points.

Yeah.
Well, in my defense, I started working on these songs in LE 6.7(my system was badly out of date, as I haven't used it in quite some time).

I can relate. You must be digging what EA can do?! I spent 2 days tightening up BGV's like I never could have done without EA. One word of advice though; make a duplicate playlist or duplicate the track before you use EA as sometimes weird artifacts pop up(and having the original track to copy/paste is good insurance).
