Does Pro Tools 10 let you draw on a pitch envelope?
Hi I have Pro tools 9 and I'm looking for a way to draw a pitch envelope. Or at a minimum have a pitch of an audio track basically dip up or down. The Serato is too expensive for me.
If Pro Tools 10 can't do it, does anyone know of a cheap plugin that will do this? Cheaper than Antares? I don't mind buying a pitch wheel but I'm sure that would still need to use a plugin. Thanks And I'm on Pro Tools M-Audio (RTAS) whatever they call that now. |

Melodyne is great - it can do some amazing things, but personally I have better results tuning vocals with Autotune.

Re: Does Pro Tools 10 let you draw on a pitch envelope?
Thanks guys, I'll take that as a no to Pro Tools 10 having it built in. They have elastic pitch for a whole track so I thought maybe now they had it like the volume where you can draw it for sections of tracks but I guess not.
Melodyne is one I was not aware of. Looks like they have a version at $250 which I can probably swing, I'll have to run some tests. Autotune I think is a bit more around $400 but maybe I'll try both. Thanks |
