Pro tools 10 & mountain lion
just got a new MacBook Pro i7, 10.8.4. do I need to upgrade to pro tools 11 or will 10.0 work properly? experience crashes twice already and work did not save using "Command S". are there downloads available to help with these issues?

Pro Tools can and will crash if certain things are not done. You're also going to need at least one and possibly two external hard drives for recording. One for PT to record to as it's not recommended to record to the system drive, and a second external drive if you're using virtual instrument samplers like Kontakt 5. |
