Track consolidation bug?

Occasionally when I consolidate a track a burst of digital distrotion appers...It's not on an edit point or anything I can see as being a problem area to fix...Is this a software issue or a user issue haha...

I have never had a problem with the Consolodate Track command on any PT system. If you would post your computer / PT version number / and Hardware I'm sure someone here will help you out.

I’m guessing it’s a core-level OS software issue — look at how it scrambles something as basic as words. Sounds like a Cabotrozobic Decontamination is in order.

This occured for me too in the days when I was having OS 9 and PT MIX 5.1. I don't think it's a bug in that sense. Ususally reformating drives made it more rare.

Yeah it's a strange thing...luckily its a very rare occurance.

I am running the latest and greatest pthd 7.1cs6 on a G5 dual 2.5(the version right before the 2.7 came out)...OS 10.4.6
